사순 시기(四旬時期, lent, Quadragesima)은 기독교에서 그리스도의 수난을 기념하는 교회력 절기를 말한다. 사순 시기를 영어로 Lent라고 하는데, 그 어원은 만물의 소생을 말한다.
사순 시기는 재를 이마에 바르며 죄를 통찰하는 재의 수요일로 시작되며, 예수 부활 대축일 전 40일(사순,四旬, 6번의 주일은 세지 않는다)의 기간 동안 지킨다. 이날에는 금식 등의 자기 절제와 회개를 한다.
한국 교회로는 로마 가톨릭교회, 개신교(대한성공회, 루터교, 감리교), 한국 정교회 등에서 지키고 있다. 또한 개신교 계통의 장로교 교단인 대한예수교장로회(합동)의 경우 사순 시기 대신 예수 부활 대축일 전 한 주간을 고난주간으로 지키고 있다.
