- 상(像) 또는 이미지(image)는 2차원 평면 위에 그려진 시각적 표현물을 가리킨다. 이미지(image)에는 정지 화면과 동영상이 있지만 동영상은 영상이라고 불리는 경우가 많기 때문에 여기에는 정지 화면에 대해 기술한다.
